Scavenger Hunts from American DollHouses

We add some new life to this classic activity.  We have lists for different seasons, indoor vs outdoor, easy vs hard, picture list for per-kindergarten kids, and even the very contemporary “photo scavenger hunt”, using digital cameras to add new fun.   You will be surprised at the teamwork and cleverness these hunts will inspire in everyone!

  • Scavenger Hunt List – Inside:  Word list of things to find in the house. 
  • Scavenger Hunt List – Inside (pictures):  Great for the little ones that haven’t mastered their reading just yet.  The pictures are items they should be able to find inside your house.  Great for rainy days.
  • Scavenger Hunt List – Outside (pictures):  Great for the little ones that haven’t mastered their reading just yet.  The pictures are items they should be able to find outside the house.  Great for burning up a little energy as they search.
  • Scavenger Hunt List – Outside Photo (summer):  With modern technology, this puts a fun spin on an already great activity.  You will need at least two digital cameras.  The items on the list should all be found outside the house.  Great for giving the kids something different to do on a summer day.
  • Scavenger Hunt List – Outside Photo (winter): With modern technology, this puts a fun spin on an already great activity.  You will need at least two digital cameras.  The items on the list should all be found outside the house.  Great activity for getting the kids out of the house during the winter.
  • NEW Scavenger Hunt List – Inside and Outside Photo (spring): With modern technology, this puts a fun spin on an already great activity. You will need at least two digital cameras. The items on the list should be found inside AND outside the house.  This gets the kids moving and thinking where to find items.  Great as a Spring Break boredom buster!

Tip:  if you have kids of different ages, pair them up and mix the ages.  Tell everyone the little ones get to hold the list.  That way the big kids can’t leave them out and the little ones feel they have a big job.
