It’z Name at American DollHouses
It’z Purple came from my daughter in a round-about way. My daughter has bright, bright red hair, but she has loved the color purple since she was one year old. By the time she was two years old, little old ladies would stop in the street and comment on her lovely red hair, which she would promptly and quite loudly correct them. She informed them in only a way a two year old can that her hair was “Purple!” This continued until she was six, when she finally agreed that the rest of the world did not have the greatest eyesight and that she understood they couldn’t fully appreciate her lovely ‘Purple’ hair. I finally go her to agree that her hair is purple with red highlights. She is now eight and still stands by her convictions that her hair does indeed have Purple in it. When “Santa” brought Caitlin an iPod for Christmas 2009, he gave her a bright red one with the inscription “It’s Purple” on it. When it came time to name the company it only seemed appropriate to name it after her, hence “It’z Purple!”
