It’z Wallpaper:
I would like to take a moment and explain how the wallpaper is designed and made. I believe in simplicity, yet I could not achieve the look and feel I wanted with the wallpapers on the doll house walls or scenes using “simple” methods. After working with multiple graphic artists, I threw in the towel and invaded my Mother’s art studio. I plopped myself in her space and promptly took it over. Here I designed the walls and hand painted the images with watercolor. This allowed me to get the feel and look I wanted… almost. Realizing I wanted a blend of watercolor charm with something a bit crisper, I dragged my poor baby sister into the chaos and had her “enhance” the watercolor paintings with crisp graphic lines on the computer. My poor sister even gave up her vacation to be chained (…no, not literally) to my desk to have me “lovingly interject advice” asking for this to be placed here and that there. After many hours working with my sister, I was finally happy with the final designed product.
So now you know the computer didn’t just plop out some flowers, but someone actually sat down and thought about each and every flower, stripe, line and color on the wallpaper of your doll house. Kinda cool!
