Colleen Moore Doll House by American DollHouses

 

Colleen Moore’s Fairy Castle doll house is my absolute favorite and  it’s right here in Chicago.  This is an elaborate miniature doll house created in the 1930′s for the silent movie star, Colleen Moore.  It is amazing to see with the gothic arches and detailing.  This fairy castle doll house was created by architect Horace Jackson and interior designer Harold Grieve.  It took over 700 individuals and nearly $500,000 to build.
